If you put a 1" on it is hardley noticable, and will give you a little more room. You also don't have to worry about shifting the body on the frame with only a 1". I saw a Silverado the other day with some kinda "custom" gap gaurds held on by zip ties. Looked better than the gaps.
I assume your asking because your tires are rubbing, what is your wheel offset? With the sidewall lugs on those tires you gotta have pretty good backspace to turn the wheels.
