Flush the fluid, clean the magnet/pan, replace the filter. Some guys say to go with Mercon V. I used Mercon III after a Sea Foam Flush... havent had a problem.

I already did all of the things listed above and am using mercon III w/ a treatment of Lucas Tranny Conditioner.
ah that sucks... Is the torque converter still fuctional for a while like this? Yep, the joys of an MN12!
