The handle and crank are typically held on with a pin. Push the spring-loaded assembly back to reveal the pin, and tap it out with a blunted nail. Sometimes there are two pin positions available to allow different positioning of the handles, so if there appears to be no pin to drive out, look for the other position and try tapping out there.

And then go to a real forum if you want Triumph help. This one is worthless. Try triumphspitfire.com or Totally Triumph Network (google it. It might be temporarily down for upgrade, but be patient).
