You've got it backwards, if you turn to the left the weight shifts to the right and when you turn to the right the weight shifts to the left.
Which means:
If it gets worse while turning left, that means that the right bearing is bad. It gets worse because that wheel is cutting into the road surface in order to turn the vehicle which shifts the majority of the weight to that side, putting it in a huge strain.
If it gets worse while turning right, that means that the left bearing is bad. It gets worse because that wheel is cutting into the road surface in order to turn the vehicle which shifts the majority of the weight to that side, putting it in a huge strain.
Think about it....if you were to make a hard turn at high speed, which side of the truck would come off the ground?
