Don't know of any mods for this one other than changing the throttle body for a higher flow one. Don't know if that would do any good w/o other supporting mods. Take off the elbow and make sure your EGR passages are clean, as this is a common clog point. Why did you take it off. I am assuming to change the hose underneath. If not, change it. The new part from ford is only 30 bucks with new metal and the rubber already crimped on. Don't cut the rubber off your old one and try to clamp new rubber on. With the location of this hose it needs to be better than ordinary jobber heater hose.
