Installing the 1g ECU will require rewiring the harness using 1g ECU connectors. You simply can not plug a 1g ECU into a 2g car. Anything can be done, the question is why go through ridiculous amounts of effort to reinvent the wheel when this swap has been done the right way hundreds of times and has been well documented for your viewning pleasure?
