At this present time I have driven 212 miles since the last fill up, but the tank is registering 3/4 full. It should at least register a half a tank or slighly below. I typically get 275 -280 miles on a tank of gas in the city and 300-325 miles a tank on the highway. I would typically think that if the gauge was not working, that it would register empty and not full. Its working the opposite. If I shut off the ignition the gauge drops to empty as to the other gauges, but the minute the key is turned on, the gauge goes back to reflecting full. Any thoughts on what is going on? Is there a sensor that may be going bad?
i have had the same problem it was a bad conection i cleand the connection and it worked fine
