I actually went to ANOTHER garage across town yesterday and the mechanic drove the car and told me it felt like the tire. Either it was worn or out of balance. He also told me that the vibration was intensified because my hood is loose, not bad just wiggles more than it should.

So I went to my tire place and asked them to balance the front. Sure enough that corrected the major problem. The front driver tire had a weight not completely secure. Needless to say it is very sad that when a WOMAN takes a car to a garge it is never serviced in the same way as when a man takes it in. It's a shame.

I did tell the mechanic to check the suspension and he said it was fine.
Thank you for your help.
