still, if all the wheels drive the car, only the front ones steer. this alone will put more wear on the front than the back. AWD vehicles are made to grossly understeer from the factory as a safety precaution. this means that the front tires are designed to have less traction than the back ones to keep your back end behind you where it belongs. this makes for more wear on the front.
