Do you mean the sensor for the engine or the one used to display the outside temperature on the climate control display?

If you mean the first, it is located in the air filter housing; look at rear of the housing under the intake hose and you'll see the two leads from the sensor.

If you meant the sensor for the climate control display, i believe it is located on a cross-member in front of the radiator and A/C condensor (anybody please correct me if I'm wrong).

The PCM is the Powertrain Control Module. Basically, it takes in all the data from the various sensors and uses that data to control things such as air/fuel ratio and I believe the automatic transmission too. The PCM also serves as a troubleshooting aid by storing a trouble code when something in the engine malfuntions - usually a sensor.
