305 woes

Thanks, got the camshaft sensor replaced, which cleared that code. It was fairly simple other than the location.

Sadly that did not fix the problem. The truck is a 96 1500 with a 305 and auto tran, it runs rough from time to time and seems to be getting worse. It started out with 3 codes, an evap system purge code po441,
the camshaft postion code po340, and a mass air flow circuit low signal code po102. The first two have been dealt with and out attempts on the mass air flow sensor so far have been fruitless.

We've tried checking all the connections, a clean air filter, cleaning the sensor wires with spray carb cleaner and thumping the engine firmly while chanting a curse or two.

Would a problem with the sensor be linked to the truck running rough on an intermittent basis? Can it be cleaned/repaired successfully if so? Should I look anywhere else first before spending the $200 for a new MAF sensor?

There was a K&N filter on the engine until recently, we are back to a standard filter at this point.
