Re: 2000 Silv/5.3L spark plug change advice needed
When i changed the plugs in my Silverado all i used was the regular sparkplug socket and had no problems. Nothing has to be done with the PCM and unless it is running crappy cause of fouling plugs you won't notice any difference either. As for having a hard time with the rear plugs, the rear one on the passenger side was the only one that gave me grief.
