Okay heres the thing, 240,260, and 280z are considered the same car... basicaly ... minor differnces like EFI in the size of the engine, they all have the L-- engine. they pretty much are all the same, except there is a minor differnce to the body on a 240z from the rest of the 2litter zs.
The big change came in 79 for the when it retained the zx badge. Body style is differnt and more taylored to the 80s boxy design. The key thing is that its a classic car.
