one of the mods i'm wanting to make on my 94 is to relocate the gas [door] (where u put the gas in at) to behind the rear corner light. i saw it once on a honda in a magazine and it seems like a really cool idea. someone told me that it's not a safe thing to do b/c if i get rear ended the car will explode.that that is the reason they put them on the side
i'm not wanting to change the gas tank location but extend the piping about a foot or so to the rear light. is he right or would anything change at all as far a safety?
