Will this truck be registered in CA? If so, everything you do it must be CARB approved or you will not pass smog.

Edelbrock does make a Multiport Injection kit for your truck (8 injectors). I am not sure if the stock 454 heads flow real well or not (I know the 350 TBI heads are not that good). The Edelbrock kit is not cheap at around $1100. A new cam is probably needed to take advantage of the Multiport injection along with some computer mods.

If your truck only has one cat, then you are not allowed to add another one; therefore, you can only go dual exhaust after the cat.
