installing carpet in 2002

Looks like I have lost the battle with GM over my defective carpet, they just won't budge. It would have been nice if they would have told me in the beginning that once the Area Service Manager makes a decision that his decision is final, oh well guess this will be my last GM product.

Since the dealer cost on replacing the carpet is almost $700 I thought I would do it myself and replace it with aftermarket carpet since GM's carpet must only be good for 2 years.

Could anyone tell me how difficult it would be to change out the front carpet in my 2002 suburban? Any special precautions I need to take due to airbag sensors and such?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks
