I was 60/40 in favour of washing it as I have handled the shell pretty much without gloves and got some ugly stains from the micro products. Some of my aftermarket decals for the bikes has done the same and some have not. Looking in the mirror I should have seen it coming as the decals slided around pretty badly when they were applied. But as you said Sasa, if it doesn't kill you, it will only make you stronger but every mishap takes me further and further away from another car build ;-)
