It does sound like an electronics issue - although I will say you should be sure that when the fluid was changed the correct fluid was used. In you case I believe that would be Mopar Type 7176 only. I'm fairly confident that it is not your current issue, but the wrong fluid will destroy your transmission quickly.
As for your problem, I have seen a faulty ECM cause this problem. But based solely on the cost of the parts I might try the Input & Output speed sensors first. Yes there are a lot of things it could be.
