Train goin down the tracks sound
I did a search for ball joints because i broke something camping over the weekend and i am not sure if its that or tie rods. Here it goes goin down a stone covered road it a small pothole heard this loud ping sound like when you would hit a soda can or something and it would bounce up then it the frame rail. All i saw was something shiny go flyin off. I looked under the best i could at the time and did not see anything. But now whenever i hit a bump in the road it sounds like your going over rail road tracks you know that clack click sound. Is there a way to tighten tie rods or check them. I ruled out the shocks there new but it is only on the drivers side. I looked at the mounts and there good and i checked the lug nuts there tight.
Also got a flat 2/3 times now im up there in my rig and since i had it plugged there seems to be a vibration. Drivers side rear tire was plugged but i dont think that has anything to do with it because i had a drivers side flat last summer up there and now theres 2 tires in the back plugged.
Was wondering if this was related to steering problems besides slop because it really tends to goto the right side now so would that be something on the drivers side?
How many U-joints on a 91? Stupid question but kinda puzzled when i looked at my Haynes and at Advance's website. Getting a list together of things to fix before i go up in July and break something again.
