my cars beeps untell the keys are out, but another thing could be, do you have an aftermarket deck in your car? Alot of decks that have removable face plates beep when you frist turn off your car to remiond you to take the face plate off.
Note: My car's a 99 and it has always beeped untell I remove the keys from the ignition.
