My wife traded in her 2001 Impala LS which had the Series II 3800 and 4T65E autotransaxle last year for a Japanese car. It had 54K on the odometer. Also it had the bigger disc brakes, handling package and 16 inch wheels with Goodyear Eagles stock.
The brakes were redone once under warranty and again at 50K. Plus it had the torque convertor and pressure control solenoid replaced. Good riddens!
