Ongoing Issues
Ok, so if you all remember, I am trying to change out the oil pressure sending unit on my daughters 95 Talon, ESI.
I had found what I thought was the unit. From under the car, on the back of the block, directly over the oil filter is the crank position sensor, just to the left (drivers side) of that, was what I thought was the oil pressure sending unit. I took it out, went to a parts store and ordered one.
Picked it up yesterday. Different piece. The guy said what I pulled out was the knock sensor. He showed me a picture of the part I pulled out and it was listed as the knock sensor. So back under the car I gotoday trying to find the sending unit.
His computer says that the piece is under the hood, drivers side, on the block. So, I will look.
You guys want a good idea to make some money?
The Haynes manual sucks for this car. How about we all start taking pics of every thing we do to these cars and create an online maunal for them, with pics by the job?
