Re: Rod knock replacment help needed

I have heard of people useing a wooden baseball bat to find a rod knock. Put your ear to the handel of the bat and the other end up to the cyl. Check each one and see if you can tell. Also your oil pressure should drop off as the knock gets worse. Chances are that if your rod is knocking then you should replace the connecting rod and cap too just swaping out the bearing is not a good idea.
