same problem here with my 97 jetta gls. first experienced it when i had my battery changed. then after draining my battery for some unknown reason and jumpstarted it, it beeped again. now, after having one of my headlight bulbs changed, it stopped beeping again. all of my doors/lights are closed/off.

does anyone here also use a checkmate remote? because i have no clue as to what the other 2 buttons are for.
