Well, as some of you might already know, i get tons of these various IHI turbos and such for free, sometimes they dont have problems, sometimes they need repairs. Here is my latest batch i picked up and am going to rebuild...
Here is all the turbos (except for 2 more that i still havent brought inside from the car yet)
Here are 2 TO4's, the one on the left has a fuc*ed up compressor housing, and the one on the right has a cracked turbine housing. Im gonna trade the good/bad so i have good/good and then rebuild the bearing housing.
Here is the inside of the one with the messed up compressor housing, can you see the teeth on the compressor blades? because there are none lol
Here is my IHI RHB7 turbo that has a chunk of downpipe stuck where it screws into the turbine housing (sounds wierd but most of the turbos i get arent bolt type housings, they mostly are the ring screw in ones)
Here is my other IHI RHB7 turbo that has a cracked downpipe ( in the big pic you can see the new one i have sitting next to it)
And last but not least, here is my mini turbo that looks like it would go to a nice go cart project lol
It would be awesome, but i dont know how long my cart would last. Pictures dont do justice how small this thing really is, my hand in a fist is bigger than it....
Of course all the bearing housings will be taken apart and rebuilt, these should be looking brand new in a few weeks, you wont be able to tell from these pics then. Ill post pics as im going along...
