LOL...it's not gonna mess the tranny up by taking it up to 7200 RPM because of the ZC redline. i used the Si tranny and 89 LS ECU when i had the ZC at one point. Any tranny can handle about 1000+ RPM or more than it's supposed to. Like when you do LSVTEC to an integra for example...the redline on that is 6500 or around there and when you use the B18A/B1 tranny with LSVTEC...LSVTEC redlines at around 9K. I havent heard of any blown trannies from that.
