So you have the lock plate removed? Does the 94 have the GM style column? If so, you should now see the switch assembly. Three screws hold that to the column and one more holds a little piece that connects to the lever. Once you get that out, you'll need to pull the housing to get the rest of the lever out. The lock and tumbler will need to come out to do that. With the key in, there is a small lock pin that you push from behind the lock plate. If it is a tilt column, you have the added chore of removing the pivot pins and the rack assembly and spring. Pulling the pins requires a special tool.
