i dont know if she spends much time in the motorsports forum. i've got a list of builds lined up!!! i've got 3 Dale Sr. wrangler cars on teh way. i've got some progress for you guys. the body shop took the day off and i've had the chassis shop workin over time, gave the engine guys a little project too.

chassis. i spent a lot of time fitting the wheel wells. got started on the rear end housing. The rear end will be SOLIDLY mounted to the roll cage. much like a funny car. I also got the trans/drive shaft tunner marked off. i've been searching for some pro mod chassis pics. need to know what the base looks like. imight just have to wing it. the base will be attached to the bottom of the interior plate shown. and then the cage will be attached to teh top. so that it is sandwiched between the two parts

this is the driver side header. I decided i didn't want zoomies. so i wouldn't have to cut holes in the side of my nice painted body. so i opted for some shorties. they are constructed out of solid wire solder. probably about 1/16 inch diamter. maybe slightly larger, and they terminate into a peice of 1/4 inch aluminum tubing. the primaries were then sanded to make it appear that they flowed smoothly into the collector. next is to pull them off of the block and make a flange, and then duplicate for the other side. let me know if you think that they are too large. the primaries are the same size, as the zoomies that came in the funny car kit, so i think they are relatively in scale.
comments and criticism very welcome at this point. and if anyone has any pics of pro mod chassis' please e-mail them to me at
