you need a exhaust manifold thats gonan go into the turbocharger, the intake part is much simpler, unless you run a carburettor (someone else can fill in about manifolds and intakes) you need to look at your compression, luckily most toyotas are low compression for 4 cylinders, like 8:1-8.5:1 however celicas being a sports model might have a higher CR. it needs to be lowered, 8:1 is great. youl need suitable internals for the boost you want to run, higher boost (prolly over 7psi) will need forged pistons etc, porting and polishing is good but not nececarry. ive notmuch experience on this but for higher boosts on alloy blocks tc you should look at sleeving etc. The work you said will all go towards a more pleasing experience with a turbo'ed car. like i mentioned earlier, internals (pistons, conrods, crank maybe even ) are really important to prevent you doing damage like throwing a rod. other than that i cant remember, proper tuning of the ecu is important, and looking at the fuel system is a must, suitable flow electric pump and injectors so the car doesnt starve itself.
