I haven't seen them before, but that doesn't mean they wouldn't be real. Isn't there a pair of gloves included with the tool roll in the F1, or am I thinking of a different car?
Chapter 17 of "Driving Ambition" that details the build process of the F1 doesn't shows very few workshop employees wearing gloves at all, and the ones who are seem to be wearing a standard latex glove.
That tends to invalidate the auction description in my mind, but who knows...
Also, static-uk seemed like a familiar McLaren-related Ebay ID, but a quick check of the available history doesn't show what I thought it would. Either way it's a unique item, the logo looks legit, and they should still be able to keep your fingers warm if worst comes to worst.
