If you're serious all you have to do is a little research online and have an ample supply of coin. there are plenty of established companies in the Us that sell complete LS1 or LT1 "take out" packages. includes engine, accessories, wiring, etc.

These cars came with LT1's and LS1's so it will fit. GM didn't produce 2 chassis, etc.

There are even websites that list everything you need to do to make the conversion.

However, to save you a little time, go with the LT1. It'll be cheaper, less in demand, and it'll be more compatable with your car's wiring.

do a google search for LS1 conversions, etc.
