Whats up guys... My best friend just got a 89 ranger with bags on it and what not. Well the other night he went to the store and before he got out he dropped it and shut off the car. Sounds like a custom setup. The only circuit board you'll find is the one in the switch box.. If he even has one. The only issues I've seen with the switch box is that the wires come loose from the switch. The pump is usually triggered by a pressure sensor that goes to a relay. The valves are basically solenoids. From what it sounds, it's not getting any positive voltage. I would see if they were professional enough to install a fuse near the battery. If it's blown, you should investigate why it's blown before replacing.
There's no standard way of installing air bags, so no one can be much help with no knowledge of the installation. It's a dead simple consept. You shouldn't have any issues finding the problem.
