Finally got this SOB figured out, I think.
After replacing every possible ignition part, and several mechanics later, this thing is finally ready to go.
NO ONE could figure out the reason for it's hard-starting/ hesitating/backfiring/stalling/lack of power.
Even the Chevy dealer misdiagnosed it for $300, and broke the throttle body cover to boot. (Thank you Penske Chevrolet, Indianapolis

)
An independent electric shop tested all systems (Gasp! Proper procedures, who'd of thunk it?!) and determined it needs a new fuel injector and fuel pressure regulator....
I am going to get a TBI unit today and have my mechanic buddy swap it out. After that, this car is history.
Anyone interested in a '90 Lumina sedan? Clean, no rust, 102k miles, LOTS of new parts, and now, it runs great!! $1500, Indianapolis, IN, hit me up if interested.
I just want to part ways with it and get back what I've got into trying to make it good....
