Oh.....most likely not your problem....but I have had the accelerator pedal catch on the floor mat.......

I had this just happen on my winstar... and it ended up being the IAC , however instead of shelling out money on a new one.. I took the old one off and spreayed the plunger system out with electric motor parts cleaner. A friend I know said they often get just a small piece of carbon or something in them then wont close fully... hence high idle. Try removing the IAC then just spraying the inside with cleaner. Might work for ya.
