As for replacing the panels, unless you are an experienced welder or bodyman, you can easily warp the panels you are welding on to and create more problems. I just finished both rear quarters, inner fenders and floor pans (+ some minor repair on front fenders) on my '63 Sports Coupe. I did most of the work myself with the help of an expert bodyman. The replacement panels (quarters) were aftermarket and not of the best quality. They had to be tweaked and massaged in a number of areas to get a nice, smooth finish. Not a job for a novice. The body work is the heart of a fine car---make sure it's done right!
