I have been reading this stupid shit over and over. One person actually said it burns the gas more effectively and not efficiently "get it" ---- Wow I thought I was in the 3rd grade again. The reason why that product and similar are on the market is because yes, they do something. IF you have a tunnel and air is passing through, it will pass through more rapidly if it is spinning. Actual toronadoes don't get their power from just sitting still. The faster the toronado, the more air it moves and kills more people and does more damage. There is going to be more air taken in by your engine and if it isn't more, then your engine will simply take the air in easier. There is no possible way that adding that to your intake will do NOTHING. The fact that nobody has tried it speaks for itself. Try it and then return it for a money back guarantee. Why would they give you that and go through all the trouble of shipping,etc.? Common sense tells you it does something. If you save 50 cents a day, and it costs 70$, then in about 140 days, it'll be paid for. that's around 5 months. But I'm sure you would save more and it couldn't hurt. It will also last longer than that(the stainless steel will not simply deteriorate from your rough driving) I was about to get one, but my girlfriend just wrecked my 2000 civic ex. Now I'm putting a b16 in my 88 hatch. Anyways, everyone should just stop writing about this without doing any research. And yes, certain cars aren't made for 93 octane gas (which really isn't 93), but I bought my 00 civic in 99 new and put nothing but the highest in there and it has always given me performance. The only time I have gotten black soot around my muffler from burning too rich was when I had my MSD ignition hooked up. Other than that, the actual 91 octane is simply the cleanest gas. It costs a couple cents more, but when you get down to the end of your tank, and there is no gas station around, you'll be glad that you used it because your car will not start to spudder and backfire due to the water content found in the lower octane gases. Thank you all for doing your homework. For the dx, maybe the non-vtec engines don't like the way 93 octane gas tastes.
