In Japan there is a limit for manufacturers , vehicles for japanese market can't be more powerful than 280 hp , but it's well known that many top-notch japanese cars make a lot more stock even if they are rated at 280 hp. Also they can be tuned up so some versions from what i've heard are given to customer , he pays , signs etc. and then gives the car back to factory and they make more hp of it... i don't see much sense in this all but that's not my business either... Also in germany manufacturers usually tell way "conservative" hp numbers because they actually pay taxes that depend on how much hp their vechicles make
, also many cars rated at 193 hp in germany make way more because vehicles below 193 hp have cheaper insurance or so, world is strange thought...
