I'm hopeing that someone will just voodoo my problems away......
I just reinstalled the d15b1 in mom's civic after a clutch job. The clutch works great but the gerbals are sickly (engine runs poor)
Initally had a bit of a problem on starting, but as soon as fuel made it to the sparx, it fired right off. I idled it for a while, checking for leaks, clunks, ticks, other abnormalities. I bled the cooling system again and went for road test. Dissapointment.
I only have about 1/2 of the throttle to use. If I try to go past the 1/2 way point It'll break up , buck and kick.
Codes I saw were (eight) pause (four) pause (eight) pause (four)..etc
I reset (pulled defrost fuse)
I now have (four) pause (four) pause......etc
(From FAQ) codes: 4=crank angle sensor? What/where is that, how can I trouble shoot, can I fix it with a hammer?
8= TDC position (top dead center) timing ......since I dont get this code anymore did it fix itself? Did I fix this with a hammer?
