Re: Should I buy Stock or Moded?

I'm gonna go with what everyone else said. If you want to mod it in the future, you may want to consider the heavily modded one. I think 'racing' is too often categorized as 'abuse' Yes it is harsher driving climates. But I'd rather a car that has been raced by an owner who loves it, then driven normally, by some idiot who takes it to the local JiffyLube for repair advice. If the car runs well, I don't see the problem. Yes your gas mileage will suffer, no you probably wont pass emissions like that, and yes with 500hp there is definantly a higher pecentage of chance that something will break...but it has its obvious advantages as well. For 15k your getting a low mileage vr4 with 5k in mods. If modding is something you want to do, than that is an amazing deal.

On the other hand, the other is an amazing deal, and you have the advantages of lower mileage, and if you choose to mod, you can do it yourself and in the path that you choose. Using the parts you want, not what someone else wanted. So they all have their advantages. Good luck with the decision.

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.
