1. Answer is STILL standing somewhere t here for Michael... My answer was not even meant for your q.

2. Depends on misfire type. Single cylinder intermittent misfire is straightforward: -Plug - coil - harness - ECU-.

All elements are there. Most probable is Coilpack leak; clean/spray that with insulator laqcuer -or- replace. All other swaps are useless under this definition.
