Clicking Sound

I have a 1993 YJ, Inline 6, Fuel Injected, 5 speed, 85k miles. I hear a ticking sound or clicking sound coming from Timing chain cover. Opened it up, found the deflection out of spec (1/2" deflection) there is a peice inside that was worn abit, not sure what its called. Its removable. I think it protects the timing chain cover from a loose chain. Like what I had. Got the parts, installed a new cam/crank shaft sprockets and chain. Lined up my dots, slipped it in. Put everything back on. Refilled coolant in rad, and added oil just to make sure it was lubricated well. When I installed the new chain, I emursed it in oil. Looking back, the chain might go on a specific way. But I looked at my old one, and I cant see that being an issue. Next steps for me, I will try to pin point exactly where the noise is coming from. Recheck my new chains deflection.

I still have the same noise as before, but it just lessend abit. Sounds like it originally did, before it started to get worse and I parked it.

I hope you guys n gals can help me. Take care and have a good-day.
