You need to adjust the window regulator (the part that moves the window up and down). Once you have the door panel off, check to make sure that the 2 bolts that hold the glass to the regulator ane snug, also make sure the grommets are still in the holes that the bolts pass through. On the inside of the door there are a few bolts that hold the regulator to the door, loosening these bolts will allow you to move the regulator around for proper adjustment. Also check to make sure that the glass slides freely in it's vertical tracks (which may also need adjustment), and that the nylon rollers in the regulator are not clogged up with rust and dirt. It'll take a little trial and error to get the window adjusted properly, but with a little patience, it can be done.
