Here's a simple and best answer you'll get an here's why: I served 6 months probabtion and I've been a Navy brat my whole life so I know something about it.
GO FOR THE PROBABTION! I serve 6 months and it went by so fast and mine was worse, cause it's something i did every day. I received a wreckless driving ticket and in VA, they're pretty harsh about those. If i didn't get a ticket, I'd be fine but I drove everyday and continued to race but nothing happened. Yes, stupid and very very lucky but don't be an idiot and not take the probabtion.
Also, if your so hyped to join the Navy, one, you seem too immature but w/e. Two, ya got a record, being this is minor, more than likely they will reject you. There not running low on resources so they're not deperate and will kick ya out like nothing.
