24 hours later, I'm still waiting to see some kind of a problem with the parts, but there's absolutely 'diddley' happening to the parts at this time.
I'll keep people aware of my 'experiment' as time progresses.

Ok, we are at 4 days, and the parts look EXACTLY the same as the day I put them into the acetone. Today, I physically checked the gasgets today for any signs of them turning to mush.
No problems noted. Next update will be Saterday.
