To overcome my dull headlight problem (which I think is caused by the tiny wires that feed them), I rerouted fused battery power through relays fired by the existing headlight circuit. I think I got the idea from the Aussies page (
http://www.go.jeep-xj.info/HowtoHeadlightLoom.htm). Before the change, I had about 10-11vdc at the plugs due to the long skinny wires and other relays, switches, etc. Now I have battery voltage (12+) at the plugs. Also did as suggested above and picked up a set of the bright whites. Much better!
