In order for exhaust to really do anything for your car, as Sentra Styling said, you must get the full exhaust system. Another mod that you may think about doing with an exhaust would be to put an aftermarket cool air intake into your car. An exhaust system could run you anywhere from $400-800. An intake will run you about $200. So, in conclusion, with those 2 upgrades (about $500-1000 investment), you'll gain about 10 hp. If that's enough of a gain, go for it. You'd be better off taking out a loan to put turbo into your car, but with aftermarket turbo, you must tweak it quite often, which continues to add to your bill. I am a die-hard fan of the Subaru WRX. I shouldn't really talk about tuning up cars, for I have a 2001 Altima SE, stock. But, I got that car because Nissan holds it's value, and in a few years, I'll have enough saved up that with the trade-in of my Altima (I have $15k saved up now), I'll be able to purchase a WRX STi. If you were to take my advice, sell your Spec V, get a commuter car, and save up for a WRX or the WRX STi. That, if you ask me, would be your best investment of your money.
