nEWB Questions: buying a 90' turbo talon, what to look for?

Hey guys,

I'm new to the DSM world and need some advice. I just test drove a 1990 Turbo Talon 2.0L . Everything is stock on it except the 3" exhaust. It has 140,000 miles.

The car pulls hard when boost kicks in and revs very smooth.

The turbo, to me anyways, seems to make a more of a whining noise then a whistling is this common on these cars, or a sign that the wheel is rubbing on the housing?

I did a compression test and got between 105-120 PSI on all four cylinders. Again, to me anyways, this seems kind of low. But then again it's supposed to be low compression right? I was expecting to see around 140-150. Can anyone confirm these numbers for me?

Is there anything else I should be concerned with on this car before I buy it?

Thanks for any info or advice.
