Hell yeah. Why?- Because if Fords competitor, Chevy Caprice, had the vette engine slapped in it then Ford should secure its dominance of the rear wheel drive sedan market with power and performance by having a big engine in it.

Right now Ford has it nice with all police/taxi/fleet vehicles needing rear wheel drive durability. But soon a competitor will re-introduce a rear wheel drive vehicle into the market that may oust Ford.
