A novice I am not when it comes to the under hood stuff, and I know it's gonna cost a pretty penny. The tranny I want alone is listed at $3100 from Summit. That's not including shipping. I'm having a difficult time finding a car like mine in a junk yard that was a standard to begin with, so I've been thinking about taking a hydraulic clutch system off a newer car, instead of the all mechanical one, and adapting it to fit mine. Hydraulic fluid lines are a lot more forgiving to work with compared to trying to perfectly align a mechanical one.
I guess I'll find out eventually.
