OK, to get back on topic, I know a guy who had a McLaren F1 GTR. He got rid of it a while back, went on to a bunch of Ferraris, and is currently Dauer 962s. He has several (I think 3), and he and his brother race them.
He kept it at Sears Point Raceway (now Infineon Raceway) in Sonoma, Ca., and he still has a spare bonnet hanging in the garage there. It's in Marlboro racing livery. Peloton, is that enough info to tell you which car it was, or was more than one painted in Marlboro livery?
Presently, this guy lives in New York City, but his brother is still in California. I will try and get the chassis number out of him.
Reason I didn't start a new thread about this is because I am wondering if it's this car that ended up in Bahrain.
